Who We Are... Pack 12 is a Cub Scout Unit in the Toqua District of the Boy Scouts of America’s Great Smoky Mountains Council. We have been serving the youth in our community since 1987! Our Charter Organization is the Farragut Church of Christ. Our program is designed for boys grades 1-5. Cub Scouting is America’s foremost youth program for boys! What We Do… Our program involves a wide variety of fun-filled activities, including sports & recreation, outdoor, and educational activities as well as community service projects. Cub Scouts master new skills, learn about the world around them, and make friends that can last a lifetime. The Scouting Program helps families teach ideals such as honesty, good citizenship, and respect. When We Meet… Pack Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month from 6:30-7:30pm. Pack Meetings are the “Grand Finale” of the month’s activities where all boys are recognized for their achievements. We encourage the whole family to attend! Den Meetings are held weekly, except for the week of the Pack Meeting. One of the meetings each month may involve a field trip. Dens are groups of boys of the same grade level who are all working towards achievement of a particular rank. Currently, all Den Meetings are scheduled on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm. * Tigers - 1st Grade * Wolves - 2nd Grade * Bears – 3rd Grade * Webelos I and II - 4th – 5th Grade Where We Meet… We meet at the Farragut Church of Christ (our Charter Organization), which is located near the intersection of Kingston Pike and Smith Road in Farragut.
How to Join… Contact us and ask to fill out a registration form. Our program is year-round, and we will always accept new members. Adult Volunteers… Pack 12 welcomes and encourages the involvement of all adult family members. Delivering a quality scouting program requires TEAMWORK. There will be lots of volunteer opportunities. Would you like to be a Cub Scout Leader or serve on our Pack Committee? Ask for an Adult Leader Application. All Adult Leaders must undergo a background check and complete Youth Protection and Leader Specific training courses. We insure that all of our Adult Leaders receive adequate training, guidance, and support. |
